How to Watch NCAAs Under an Overpass in Myrtle Beach

HOW TO WATCH NCAA WRESTLING

Anybody familiar with this blog knows that I live under an overpass in Myrtle Beach. Life is tough, and it doesn't get tougher than 8:00 pm behind the Starbucks. Talk about your blood round! I have to fight the Warlords and the 21st Avenue Orphans and all the individual homeless and drifters to get the day-olds. If I can walk out of that scrum with a bag of old Blueberry Muffins, it's like I'm an All-American that night.

Anyway, there is no cable and no satellite TV that runs under my overpass in Myrtle Beach, so I figured out what to do the street way. Sling TV is offering a free trial of their services, which includes access to ESPN3. You get all these other channels under the "Orange package," but I don't give a crap about that.

I'm just after access to ESPN3 for three days.

I almost signed up yesterday, but just as I was about to click "submit," I noticed that the free trial would be over in two days. WTAF? That's a short free trial, brother! That's like somebody putting a ******* quarter in my cup!

So, I didn't click on the submit button but will wait until later this morning. Then, I'll be able to watch Justin Cardani in bout #22, Lucas Byrd in match #39, Zac Braunagel in bout #125, and Luke Luffman in match #164.

This is the coverage I want:

MY ILLINI AND NON-ILLINI NCAA PICKS

Justin Cardani -- All American
Lucas Byrd -- National Champion
Zac Braunagel -- All American
Luke Luffman -- All American
Everybody Else -- Who gives a ****

Here's a couple of NCAA Hype Videos to celebrate their tournament. The first is modeled after those Thug Life videos, while the second is from last year and matches Opera with ILLINI Wrestling.

Opera and ILLINI Wrestling. You didn't even know that you needed that, but you did.

WELCOME TO BRIAN BEERS!

The ILLINI have added a new recruit in Brian Beers, who just signed his NLI. Welcome aboard, young man!

Want the hat:

A close-up of the hat (oh, and Brian Beers):

He's not the only person who has impeccable taste ...

WELCOME TO KEVON DAVENPORT!

We've already welcomed Kevon to the ILLINI, but that welcoming party may have been lost in all of the NCAA hoopla. So, let's do it again! He's a four-time Michigan state champion and a transfer from Nebraska. He's likely to fill in the spot left by graduating Seniors Christian Kanzler and Mike Carr.

That's Kevon exiting the transfer portal from Avenger's Endgame. He will be joining Brian Beers, Kole Brower and Edmond Ruth in the ILLINI lineup next season. Avengers, assemble!

Finally, here is the preview of the ILLINI at the NCAA Wrestling Championships done by the good folks at FightingILLINI.com. Nothing you don't already know there, but they do have a great picture of Lucas Byrd getting ready to drop Boo Dryden on his head!
